About Us
The Brickford Township Fire Department was founded in 1922 shortly after the township was founded when a families home burnt to the ground and there was nobody to stop it. In 1922 the BTFD started out with only one Ahrens-Fox fire engine out of a generous families old barn. Today the department has grown to 4 stations, a fleet of high-tech apparatus, and plenty of well-trained paid and volunteer personnel.
